Changes to Red Hat Cluster Suite 4

The following fence devices have been added to this release:

     o Dell Remote Access Controller/Modular Chassis (DRAC/MC)

NOTE: DRAC/MC firmware 1.2 is required for the DRAC/MC
       fence device.

o IBM Remote Supervisor Adapter II (RSA II)

o WTI Remote Power Switch, Model RPS-10 (only used with two-node
       clusters)

Important Notes

  Cluster Upgrade Consistency Requirement

All nodes in a cluster must be upgraded to the same update version. Nodes
running different versions of cluster packages on the same cluster are not
    supported.

  Adjusting Heartbeat Rate

To tune CMAN heartbeat rates for when nodes join a cluster as well as the
time elapsed before a node is determined dead, perform the following steps:

Run the following commands as root:

    echo 10 > /proc/cluster/config/cman/hello_timer
    echo 100 > /proc/cluster/config/cman/deadnode_timeout

The first command above configures the rate at which a cluster node thread
sends the "HELLO" message to join cluster to 10 seconds (the default value is
5). The second command configures the timeout period (in seconds) to
determine when a node is considered dead to 100 seconds (from the default
    21 seconds).

Apply these values to each node prior to joining them to a cluster with
    the "cman_tool join" command.

  clurmtabd
As of this release, clurmtabd is no longer used (and is never started).
